    Villa search, HELP!!!!!!

This could be interesting, as per my other post "cutting it close" it now looks as if I'll be able to get a flight at round about what I want to pay, unfortunately the villa may be a different story.
I've put out 2 searches from the sites at the top of the page for 3 and 4 bedroom villas (22/7/07 2 weeks) and not had a single reply.

Next question therefore is other than this site could anyone recommend anywhere else I could look.
    Please PM me your suggestions
    Cheers Mick-H

    Hi MICK .
Why not tried again and split your weeks as a lot of villas may be full for both weeks so try again on these sites .

Mick there are actually four sites on the links above.

    http://www.orlandovillas.com/
    http://www.villasflorida.com/
    http://www.onlinefloridavillas.com/
    http://www.orlandovillarental.com/

I would put out your enquiry again as I'm sure many owners have availability for the dates you need.

Some owners, may well be booked, have you thought about maybe splitting your stay up a little, and spending one week in one and the second in another, or maybe even on the gulf coast for a week.

Mick, check that you have entered your correct email address; this is a daily problem for the owners.

Mick - just a thought - did you receive the email from the website confirming that your enquiry had been received? If not you may have not typed your email address correctly.

All good advice above. The only other thing I would add is to not be too strict in any requirements you have as there will not be many homes available for those peak dates at this late stage.

Also, a lot of owners will ignore any enquiry asking for a "discount" or similar wording as they have no need to give their home away. I'm not saying this is what you intend to say, just making a general point.

    Mick

Did you put out another request yesterday, defintiely didn't get one on http://www.onlinefloridavillas.com/ as I know I could accommodate you for part of your holiday and I'm sure there are others that could. Just mention in the comments that you would be prepared to split your accommodation.

Mick - you might want to send out a general enquiry not specific to any number of bedrooms. You should definitely get something back [msnwink]
