    orlando Airport pick ups?

Hi, me and my family fly out on Wednesday[msnsmile2]
But my 16 year old son won't be travelling until the Sunday, I am sure details of picking him up have already been coverewd, but I can't find it[msnscared]
Anyway, where do we park and how long will we be able to park there?
If there is a delay, then what do we do, should we ring the airport before we travel there to fetch him to see if his flight is on time?
    Thanks.

The terminal car park is quite straight forward.

If you have internet access you could track his flight so you will have a very good idea of his arrival, or you can go on the airports own web page and search real times arrivals and that will also give you his arrival time[msnwink]

Assuming he has a mobile, get him to phone you the minute he gets off the plane. Then say you'll meet him at the arrivals lounge exit door in one hour. That's about what it'll take to get through immigration and collect luggage.

I follow the signs at airport for Virgin flights, this will take you to the road outside the check-in desks. Carry on and on the left at end you will see the sign for short stay car park. Take ticket at barrier and go down to the far end of car park following signs for Hotel, at end you will go over a bridge (over road you have just travelled down) park where ever you can as you are now inside the terminal building. There are lifts there to take you down to the arrivals lounge.

I was given this tip years ago by one of the airport porters, definately the quickest way to return to airport to check in with the rest of your party and should also work for you.

Proved useful when Virgin suspended downtown checkin after 9/11, could drop off bags when check-in opened at 1ish and then drive down to Florida Mall.

Haven't used to for a while so have no idea what it costs, I think it was around $3 an hour when I last used it.

Or you could stay at the villa by the pool and send a limo to collect him.

The Hummer ones look especially nice [msnwink]
