Easter is busier than October although we always find it manageable.
At Easter it is warm all day and evening - perfect for whole days by the pool or at a water park. In October it is cooler in the early morning and evenings but still plenty warm enough for swimming.
All the parks are open earlier and later at Easter whereas in October they are off-peak hours.
I like to be able to take a break then go back in the evenings and we do this at Easter - parks are often open past midnight. More time for shopping or sitting by the pool during the afternoon.
Both times of year are great though - we've done Easter and October/November time and would happily go again at either time of year. Decision is made for us by the fact we can only have a week in October whereas we can take 3 at Easter and Xmas - you can't get too much of a good thing!!
