Are All Return Flights Night Flights?

    Hi

We're hoping to go back to Florida soon, but one thing that puts me off is the dreaded night return flight!. My children hate it and can't get comfortable enough to sleep.

My question is are all return flights from Orlando to Gatwick night flights?

    Helen

Afternoon or evening as the flights from the UK are morning. Maybe book the latest flight back (we try for the 2040hrs from Orlando to Manchester). After a long last day at the parks, the kids may be pleased to have the opportunity to grab a few hours sleep on the plane.
    Regards, Mark

I am pretty certain that there are no daytime direct flights Orlando to London.

There are certainly early morning flights from places New York to London(possibly Atlanta/Washington/Boston/Chicago - I haven't looked)if you want an indirect flight, but that might mean staying overnight in a hotel in New York as you might be pushed to get there leaving Orlando early morning.

As said before you can fly with AMERICAN companys DELTA fly via NEW YORK and ATLANTA and you can break you journey and stay in a HOTEL for 1 or 2 nights and they do not charge I believe, You only pay for HOTEL and some give continenal breakfast ,Worth trying .

We have flown back with United. The flight leaves Orlando at 6 am for Washington and then on to Heathrow later in the morning. Flight lands in London around 9.30 pm. Although it means a really early start you don't actually miss a night in bed - we have a 3 hour drive from Heathrow so despite putting up with two short nights of sleep it really worked for us and it is the only time I haven't suffered for a few days!

Sounds like a great option to help overcome jetlag!!

The other way I have found to avoid jet lag is to leave as late as you can and arrive into London as late as possible in the morning. Ther are some connecting flights that do get in very late morning in the UK. Perfect!
