Loads of threads about TCD Bernard-overall feeling I got was that they were functional rather than luxurious-I'd use them again whereas others wouldn't touch them-try a search!

Bernard, eveyone on here knows my views on TC and I would not fly with them but that is just my preference.

However, that aside I live close to Manchester Airport and drive past the airport 4 times a day and I often see the TC flight departing or arriving, we also can see the aircraft on their final decent from our garden, and I have to say it is delayed with alarming regularity[msnsad]

I also believe if you are chosing to use them due to cost then I think you could do better if you shopped around as there are quite a few hidden costs with TC as you will see from some of the other threads on this company[msnwink]

We got a great deal this year through Opodo - 2 adults and 2 children flying Virgin from Manchester-Orlando August 2007 total price for all of us £1301.52 then got the car from the site above fully inclusive for £339[msnwink]

Hi I flew with travel city last year, three days after the big security scare and I thought they dealt with it great. I had no problem with my flights and the staff at the airport were great. I would travel with them again just would not get my car hire through them again. By the way the meals on board were much better than what virgin dish out. Not that im thinking of food.[msnembarrased]

I just find that, for example even with their £39 last minute specials, that 2 x £39 becomes well over £500 with all their compulsory extras.
I just hate being conned, and would rather see a realistic inclusive price advertised.
I never had a problem with any of their flights however, and I know that a severly disabled friend of mine swears by them as TC take her electric wheelchair at no extra charge.

You might not get your car from TCD, however you will pay for it including all insurances at their inflated rates.etc.

Their flights are Fly/Drive and if you don't want a car from them you will pay far more for a flight only.

They insist that you pay for the car insurances when you book your flight and as Anorak states the hidden charges are horrendous.

I share Mach 2's opinions on what is IMO a ghastly company. However on both sides of the argument, "repeated anecdotes ain't data"
