We had a great view from the car park at the restaurant on the 192 we happened to be in at the time. Clear blue skies so you could see it very clearly and the vapour trails lasted for ages.
It was our second time to be lucky enough to see a launch and it brings a lump to the throat as it's so awesome to watch it go out into the blue yonder.
Atlantis is due to return in twelve days time to Kennedy Space Center.

Yes, saw it too from the front of our house. Always a great sight. Our Chinese meal was delivered just as we were standing at the front door watching it. I think the delivery guy thought we were all waiting for him!
Yep, we watched it too, from the pool deck, amazing sight. We wondered if the skies would clear in time as it had been torrential rain 90 mins earlier.

We were just leaving MGM and wondered what everyone was looking at, then it just appeared above the tree line, everyone clapped and cheered.......very humbling.[clap][clap]
