Having seen a post in the Photo Gallery where Brizzle has taken pics at the same place but 1 year on each time, it made me think of what we do to try and give our kids memories for when they grow up and fly the nest.
Every Christmas since our first child, Bradley, was born we have bought him a new tree ornament and wrote his name, the year and a special message on it. He has 12 up to now.
We carried this on when Taylor was born and she is on 8.
They now pick their own every year, in fact last year and the year before they got them from the Christmas shop in Downtown Disney.
Each Christmas when we put up the tree it's the first thing they look for, and when they eventually leave home they will take them with them to put on their own tree's (though I can't help thinking how bare ours will look when that happens [msnsad])
So what do you do regularly to help build the memories of the little ones??

When our Taylor was born (she is 15 this year[msneek]) I used to take lots of photos of her, every birthday especially..I even had a book cateloging each occasion/party..so it was primarily a collection of photos of her on her big day, sadly this seemed to stop at about 10 i think? Now I feel sad that I didn't continue the tradition[msnsad]
I am proud that she is the only "Taylor" at her girls school of 923 pupils though!! Phew..[msnwink]
