    Villa Sleeping Arrangments

Hi folks, great website, very helpful.!!

I am planning a trip to Florida for late Oct early November and just have a few questions which you may be able to help me with.

What is the temp like at this time of year ?

There are 7 single people in the party so am wondering what size villa I need to book. All the villas I have looked at, well the 4 bed villas, on the internet have double beds in them. Is it possible to request single beds be put into the master bedrooms?

    Thanks for you help.

    Welcome to the forum Fintan.

It's not possible to move beds in the Master bedrooms and replace them with other beds.

Since you want individual beds for each member of your group then you would need to rent a home that had at least 5 bedrooms with a minimum configuration of 3 Masters (king or queen bed) and 2 twin bedrooms, each with 2 twin beds. That would give you individual beds for 7 persons. I don't know of a 4 bedroom home that has just 1 king or queen bedroom and 3 twin bedrooms.

Some 4 bedroom homes have a sofa bed, so they might work for your group, although I would feel very sorry for the poor person who had to sleep on the sofa bed in the lounge/family room - no privacy at all!

I too would go for the 5 bed option as i am sure it fit your purpose better.
As for the weather it should be nice with day time around 75-80f and cool night times temps of about 55-60f. The parks are less busy at this time of year.

Fintan, you have picked a perfect time to go,I would go just into early November so you do not hit the half term holidays

You should make an enquiry through the Orlando Villas sites, print out the replies that interest you and then all get together and have fun choosing the perfect house. You can mostly get lots of advice from your owner that helps make a perfect holiday;most of us are full of the little secrets that make all the difference.

Have a great time with plenty of time to enjoy the anticipation (and with the srong pound against the dollar and already cheap shopping in Florida, there could not be a better time to go!)

    Fintan,

October or November is a great time to go. Actually, anytime is a great time to go!

I agree with the above posts. Most likely a 5 or more bedroomed home would suit best. However, most homes have american sized king beds, which are basically like having two single beds side by side, and are plenty big enough for two people.

Do a search on the above sites, and see what comes up. Either way, if you book with this site you will get a great home.

    Good Luck

It's always a bit of a narrower search when it is all singles travelling but again I go with the thought pattern of a 5 bedroom as most have 3 doubles and 2 twins, that is certainly our set up.
Also a 6 or 7 bedroomed place would also meet your needs.

Ditto to the above - also 5 beds should give you a little extra space
so you can always chill on your own if you need too.

I agree. Some 5 beds have 2 double rooms and 3 twins (meaning 6 twin beds and 2 doubles/queens/kings) making 8 beds in total.

    Hi Folks,

Thanks for all the responses, much appreciated.
Yes your right, the 5 bed option is the way to go.
As you say, gives plenty of space for all.

I have a few other questions so I will post them in the correct forum.

    Thanks again.

I think Nov is the best time to go. Best weather and parks a little quiet.

Again I would go for a 5 bed upwards. This will allow you to fit all your guests in as you wish.
