    Globespan planes

    Hi
I've heard some rumours that Globespan is using 757's on the Orlando route from Glasgow stopping at Belfast and Bangor Maine ?

Does anyone know if this is true ?

We go in two weeks and really don't fancy an indirect flight (and a single aisle plane) - if we wanted to stop we would be going Delta from Edinburgh via Atlanta

Hi i would phone them we flew with them last year and did not know anything about stopping in Belfast until we were checking in at Glasgow, total nightmare sitting on the ground at Belfast for 90 mins each way, cant remember much about the type of plane, but vowed we would never use them again.

I suspect a non-stop Glasgow-Orlando flight would be outside the range of a 757 so it's likely that there is either a stop somewhere in the North East USA or they're using another aircraft.

If they are using the 757 they will more than likely have to refuel. But if they land in Belfast they might be able to do this.

Officially its a 767 however they have used a 757 as you stated above, I would phone them and ask as a 757 would need to stop[msnwink]

A full 757 wouldn't have the range to operate to Orlando out of Glasgow. If it's a 757 if would have to stop.

I will give them a try on a planned trip to New York later in the year
I love flying from Liverpool it's so relaxing compared to other major airports
