    New places to eat ?

    Hi
we are heading over for a couple of weeks in May and want to try some new places to eat.

Been to some of the usual suspects - Bahama Breeze, Tony Romas, Cheesecake Factory, - just looking for some new ideas

We enjoy APPLEBEES which is new it is on the Hwy 192 .
Also there is a new one down ST CLOUD called CRABBEY BILLS .
It is east on HWY 192 pass the OSCEOLA FARMER MARKET and go down either CALIFORNIA AVE OR NEW JERSEY AVE KENTUCY AVE TO A LARGE LAKE AND there is a beach and the restaurant .
There is also a childrens playground and water feature that the children like as the one in CELEBRIATION .

There is a new Applebees on the 27 at Berry Town Centre.

Pebbles is nice and offers a menu that is a little out of the ordinary and we also enjoyed a lovely meal in February at The Colorado House of Beef on the 192.

Karen if you mean the Pebbles at Crossroads, it was closed when we were in Orlando last month. We visited Applebees for the first time and I'm afraid we weren't very impressed.

A lovely place to eat is Seasons 52 on Sand Lake Road. It has been recommended on the forum quite a few times so we decided to give it try. You can book online at http://www.seasons52.com/locations/orlando.asp We will certainly be visiting again on our next trip.

We also thoroughly enjoyed a meal at Citricos at Disney's Grand Floridian. In fact we can recommend all the restaurants at the Grand Floridian, except 1900 Park Fare. We haven't eaten there as it tends to be character dining.

Yes it was the Pebbles at Crossroads that I meant, shame about that, it was somewhere a little different. Not that we ate there regularly mind you, it was August 2005 when we were last there, for our Silver wedding anniversary[msnsmile]

Chevy's mexican is nice - to the eastern end of the 192 - just beyond the Walmart on the other side of the road.

Best Nachos ever - and for those with allergies, the manager is very helpful and created dishes specially for us.

Many of the auhentic recipes are made with corn instead of wheat. Gluten free fajitas anyone?
