mizzy the final installment with photos

well this is my very last one, i hope you haven't been bored and i haven't gone on too much

    friday 30th march

this was our last full day so with a vote to be made we chose Epcot

time to squish in an IHOP brekkie first, not as many times here as i would have liked Julieanne but i managed two visits, you will have to do better on your trip[msnwink]

the weather today was drizzly and overcast but that wasn't going to stop us enjoying ourselves

first stop in Epcot was "soarin" we all love this ride, if you can try to get in the front row as it's much better without peoples legs dangling in front of you

next stop was nemo and friends we didn't think much of this ride but i can see great appeal for younger kiddies

after this it was back to Japan, just for peace[msneek] and then we headed over to the international gateway to find beaches and cream and the kitchen sink

now it's tricky to find, much easier if you know that it's behind the windmill at the beach club resort

the place is tiny with seating for about 30 people max and it was full, determined not to be put off we agreed to seats up at the counter just so we could get in, not ideal for us and the booths looked so inviting with little wurlitzer juke boxes at them but needs must and the counter had a plus side, right in front of us a "kitchen sink" was in the making[msnsmile2] now i've got to say that given a choice i would eat desserts, chocolate and ice cream for every meal meal but even i would admit this dessert is not for the faint hearted

this was the best picture we could get as it was still in the making, she was adding even more to it[msneek]

looking for a more sedate option and with all of us full up still from IHOP we went for ordinary desserts and ice creams off the menu and dh opted for a beer

this is my std size strawberry shortcake[msnembarrased] did i finish it? no it was way too big

a plus side to sitting at the counter we could see most of the meals being prepared and as well as ice cream this place does your std diner food, burgers fries etc and with what we saw coming out it made us wish we'd skipped brekkie

anyhow with the feast over we headed back into epcot and made our way over to test track

all too soon another day was over and it was back to the villa to pack and for one last dip in the pool[msnsad]

    saturday 31st march

got dressed and checked in online with a bit of a shock i think i'd messed up the online check in and our seats looked like we'd been moved, so speeded up the dressing and out of the villa asap to drop cases at DTD, check in was ok and i felt foolish for rushing everyone over the last minute panic

we met up with Julie B also checking in and wished safe journey home with many threats of visiting her later in the year[msnwink] then it was off to perkins for brekkie

had one final dose of french toast (not as nice as IHOP) and we headed over to mgm so kids could have one last go on tower of terror, i sat this one out and did some last minute shopping

soon it was time to say goodbye to disney[msnsad] and we set off to airport, we thought that the car return would be difficult but it went very smoothly and we cleared security pretty quick too so with time to spare we had one last florida meal in the outback and finally got to try the bloomin onion[msnsmile2][msntongue][msnsmile2]

flight home was ontime but uncomfortable, that's what we get i suppose for spoiling ourselves fly prem econ on the way out

arrived home lunch time and would have been mightly depressed to be home if it was not for seeing our Olly again

so that's it "the end" hope you haven't been too bored people will return the favour by leaving lovely long trip reports to bring a little bit of florida into our lives whilst we're waiting for that next visit

    thanks Marie

I agree that your reports have all been a great read and not in the least boring.

How on earth do you remember it all in such detail?

I blame my age - very short memory span, but I'll have to give it a go when we get back from our next trip! Only 11 days to go![clap][clap]

I've really enjoyed reading about your trip. You should print off your reports and put them in a photo album with your holiday snaps - it's so easy to forget details of holidays but I bet you'll remember this one for ever[msnsmile2]
