saturday 24th Epcot

we had another lazy start by pool and then headed off to Epcot, big queues here and long waits with nearly all fastpasses gone, we also started to notice guests with "dream fastpasses" on tie around the necks which had "year of a million dreams" on them, we got talking in the fastpass queue to a party who had been given theirs and they where allowed to fastpass each ride at any time but only the once

our first stop was Soarin this ride showed a wait time of 70mins but with special asst we where on in about 10 mins and it was fab, i'm not a simulator ride person as i always feel sick but this was nothing like i expected at all, it was FANTASTIC[msnsmile2], after this we did the land which was very interesting and i would like to do the greenhouse tour mentioned during this ride but i think it's a "without kids" tour

outside this area we set off anti clockwise towards the world showcase but not before quick refreshment stop to charge our batteries for the "trek ahead" ice cream cookie sandwiches frozen bananas popcorn and that was us all set for our journey[msnwink] also musn't forget the frozen mocha for me and beer for dh[msnsmile2]

our most important stop on the world showcase was to be the highlight of dd's holiday, Japan - she's sooooo been wanting a kimono and with her own $$$ to spend we could hardly say no, once that purchase was made a very happy teen bounced around the world showcase with no complaints whatsoever, apart from the repetitive questioning mainly along the lines of "when do we go eat sushi?"

coming out of the park we stopped at a sushi restaurant called "sakura" which my dd tells me means "cherry blossom" we didn't want to eat in so ordered a meal to be delivered

back at the villa dd was all dressed up and ready for her sushi dinner, she had a 9 piece sampler, totally raw!! whilst the rest of us opted for more conservative options, mine being teriyaki beef, dh has some ginger soy chicken and ds had a starter which was chicken sticks with a sticky honey dipping sauce, overall the meal was delicious with fresh vegetables which was a nice refreshing change, the only thing that spoilt it a little was the delivery guy who demanded a 15% tip (we had 10% waiting and he looked at it and said well actually it's 15% service charge) i think he was having one over me and as the food was allready paid for in the restaurant i couldn't really say no, it was just a few extra dollars but i did think he was cheeky

sunday 25th

this was to be a much quieter day at a snails pace we set off on another shopping trip this time to the florida mall, spent lots of $$$ here and then back home for nice quiet evening by pool, salads all round for tea followed by peanut butter ice cream in sugar cones[msnembarrased]
