    drunk and disorderly

    we have booked flights to florida 2008 and are taking friends for first time he is 40 year old and is in a panic because has just remembered he was arrested 20 years ago for drunk and disorderly does he own up or say nothing

    I assume it never went to court, so I wouldn't think there will be a problem

    I would think he would need a visa as he has been arrested and would have had a criminal record.

    Best to get a visa in my opinion - he has plenty of time and it will put his mind at rest while waiting for his holiday.

    I would say nothing and answer NO on the form as it is clearly not a crime of moral turpitude as per the other thread on here.

    My Brother was the same as your friend
    he went to the police station and paid £10
    fill in a form (I think it was a CRB )
    to find out if he had a police record ,
    it came back with nothing on it ,
    we have no problems in October
