    PS3....

Has anyone else got a PS3?

I got mine on Saturday - I think it is excellent.

I can't see a massive difference in graphics between it and the X360, but I am sure that this will improve with new games.

The blu ray player in it is AWESOME!!!

I am sure there are plenty Caroline...we ventured to a psp for our daughter, but she was mainly interested in the music on it, so the ipod Nano took over . Actually , might take it for me to play games on, during our next flight [^]
    Glad you are enjoying

My son got his on the first day but we've still not succeeded in connecting to the internet. Keeps coming up with the message 'a connection to the access point couldn't be acquired. Check the settings of the wireless LAN (error 8013013E)
On the forums there seems to be lots of gamers in the same boat but nobody has a solution that I've found. I would have thought Sony could provide a solution but they're quiet at the moment. Any experts out there who could suggest a fix?

    Hi Linda,
Playstation 3 games can be bought from UK and USA and will play on both counties PS3s. The PS1 & 2 games are only playable on their own countries game console unless they've been chipped.

    Hi

My son received his PS3 on the first day it was out and thinks it's fantastic. He had no problem connecting to the internet and has been busy playing with other gamers from all over the world!

Best birthday present he has had!

My son must have got a dud, because on the first day it overheated after an hour and a half [msnsad]. He got a refund as he wasn't too impressed with the graphics. He prefers the 360 or the Wii.

Well, right now I think the 360 offers the same graphics.

BUT, the blu ray player in the PS3 is so good, we have watched a few films now and they are so clear.

I have a 360 and the 360 HD DVD player and hooked up to the plasma - is the same as the BLU Ray on the PS3. They are still battling it out over which is better - BLU RAY or HD DVD. To me... I can't see any difference and it does depend on what type of HD screen you have.
