    Is three weeks long enough

to see everything in Orlando?. There seems to be so much to see and do with all the different parks and all, we were hoping to visit the seaside for a few days as it does not look too far to travel, but with Disney, Universal and Seaworld to visit as well as the Space Center i do not know how we can fit it all in, we so much want to see everything as it will be our only chance to go, should we miss out one of the Parks? to give us time to see the rest, i'm not much for Roller Coasters so i guess we could skip Universal at a pinch, what do you think?, we have plenty of time to get organised as we are not going until March 2005, any suggestions on how to fit everything in?.

I think the answer is not to worry too much about seeing literally everything, just enjoy what you do manage to fit in - because in 3 weeks you will see A LOT and it will all be fantastic!

The best advice I can give you is to get yourself a copy of 'The Unnoficial Guide To Walt Disney World' by Bob Selinger,

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...033741-3529411

It treats your Disney vacation a bit like a military campaign, but the information in it is accurate, invaluable and vast!

    Hi,
You definately cannot see everything in Orlando in 3 weeks, but it appears from your question that your main interest is in the parks and the beach. Orlando has much more to offer. Parks such as Universal are not all roller coaster rides--there is much, much more. I would advice you to go to the web sites of the various parks to see for yourself what each has to offer. Don,t forget that most of the parks will be quite heavy on your feet, so you may need to have a few "rest days".
Do you intend to stay at accomodation at the coast when you visit the beach? The Gulf is just over one and a half hours drive and has really silky sand. Personally we like St. Pete Beach but there are many to choose from. The Space Coast is a good hours drive.
I am sure that you will have a great time and an experience that you will never forget.
    Mike.

We've always done everything we've wanted too in 2 weeks.....so don't skip any parks....Universal is the best....and I hate roller coasters....we never get any rest days....but we sleep like babies even in cheap hotel rooms....so no worries......

We've been 3 times now and we've still got a list as long as our arms of things to do for the first time next time we go!
A really good book to read and ponder what to do is 'The Brits Guide to Orlando', its a bit like this forum in a book.

    Hi Orlandoorbust
We have only ever been for two weeks but wish it could be three, a book that we have found very helpful is a Brits guide to Orlando by Simon Veness, there is even a planner at the back of the book that you can fill in with your own ideas. Have a great time (I know you will)

I think all that is important is to schedule in some rest days. You will not see everything
in 3 weeks, there might be things that you dont fancy going to. We went for 2 weeks a
month ago and were shattered after only having a few rest days. Next year we are going for
3 weeks, but as we have seen most of the parks, we plan to try and see Florida rather than
all parks. We will also have rest days to relax.

What you dont manage to see this time you can always go back and see what you couldnt

You can always go to the beaches on the east coast for the day as it is only over an hours drive. There is never enough time in Florida but in 3 weeks you can do plenty.

    Hi,
We've been many times to Orlando and we still haven't seen everything!
My boys have wanted to different things each time. At various ages their interests have varied considerably. The last time we were there in April our eldest (15) wanted to do Wet'n'Wild, Basketball game (Orlando Magic) Busch Gardens, shop and 'chill' by the pool, oh and go to the beach at Clearwater (top girlies I'm told)
Our youngest (12) wanted to do Sea World (again) Universal, Baseball game, and play golf (at every available moment!)
Us? Well we wanted to do lots of things, and still do, but as yet we've not managed much......I wonder why?

I was just about to say Beverley, but you beat me to it, that we've been going to Florida at least twice a year since 1994 and still haven't managed to see everything there is to see either!
