    if you could

take two days out and get an internal flight from florida to another place in the US where would it be and why?

i'm thinking of doing this but the research is beyond me, don't know where to start

i know there are low cost airlines but that's about it

if we can do it we would be looking at 2 nights/3 days and only a few hours max on the plane

also what about immigration does all that have to be done again, i'm presuming the answers yes?

    any ideas?

    Good question Mizzy...
Personally once on US soil I would really want to fly to watch a certain boy playing soccor for LA Galaxy (if he ever gets fit?) so that could be anywhere they are due to play, home or away I guess? That would then dictate how long I went for[msnwink]
Once on US soil, you don't do all the imigration thing again, so that would be a plus.
My daughter would like to go to Seattle as her best friend from school moved there at Easter[msncry], and DH would probably prefer Washington for the Smithsonian Institution[|)]
I am sure if we really thought about it we could come up with something a bit more sensible[msnwink]

We have been to both Las Vegas and San Francisco, and love them both. 3days is not enough time for me though.

it would be may 08 or perhaps later jan 09 (for dh's and my 40th)

our alternative is for jan 09, to fly to the US visit somewhere else first and then fly down to florida for a week after

I was looking at going to Memphis when we were in Florida to see 'Gracelands' but it was labour weekend and everything was booked up. As it will be for your birthdays why not do a 3 or 4 day Cruise from Cape Canaveral, that is something I want to definitely do.

despite all my efforts of persuasion Roger's said no many times to a cruise, it's the all trying to sleep in one room issue that puts him off, the issue is no one would actually get any sleep with dd, booking a hotel would mean two interconnecting rooms or a suite and the cost of a suite on a cruise ship are extortionate

over £3,000 for 3 nights on the disney cruise ship[msnoo]

would consider gracelands though, do you have any idea how long the flight would be?
