Went to see this Movie last night, great, It`s made by the same people who made Sin City.
Well worth a look in my opinion.
Last time we went to the pictures we saw Lord of the Rings so you can tell we don`t get out much [msnwink]

I saw it on Thursday thought it was fantastic

Think the ladies may like the loin cloths muscles and six packs!!!

Funnily enough the original was on BBC2 yesterday afternoon as well

We too saw it on Thursday, great film, though I did have to shut my eyes through some of the gore, not really my scene, but still enjoyed the film a lot, would recommend it

(In Homer style) mmmmm six packs [msnsmile2] that aside some of the effects were brilliant I thought visually it was excellent, pardon my ignorance but was this based on fact or fiction ?

it's very much based on fact, although there was a lot more than 300 defending against the Persians, more like 2500. The three hundred were probably King Leonides' personal guard. Still overwhelming odds though against a hundred thousand Persians. They would have won too if they had not been betrayed by one of their own guard.
I've been through the Thermopylae pass, it is still the only easy way to travel from the North into Southern Greece.

Went to see this film this afternoon. Really good film I enjoyed it, hadn't want to see it though. My son paid it was a treat for all of us, celebrating my new job. Lunch, chinese, then a film. If you haven't seen it then I would suggest you try it out.

I have got to disagree with everyone. I thought the film was terrible.

I am really bad at the cinema, cannot sit for too long. We now wait till they come out on DVD, so I csn get up an walk around a little. I will put it on our 'reserved' list. Thanks for the tip and any other tips would be gratefully accepted.
