    Virgin Air Miles Booking ?????

    Hi Everyone.

I have had a Amex card for a while now, and racked up quite a few rewards points.

I have linked my rewards to the Virgin airmiles program.

The question is, what do i do next to be able to get a booking using my airmiles?

Do i have to actually convert the Amex rewards into airmiles, and if i do is there any time limit from why i convert them?

Never having done this before, i wonder if anyone can give me the low down, thanks.[msnwink]

Is this the Virgin MBNA Amex card, or a standard Amex card with rewards membership?

Normal Amex rewards points can be converted on the american express website to Virgin miles giving your Flying Club membership number - it may take up to 6 weeks before it shows in your Flying Club account.

If you have a Virgin Amex Card, your miles will be added automatically, as well as your 2 free premium economy upgrades and companion ticket per year.

Once you have the miles in your account you just log in to the flying club website, and can make a reward booking there and then IF you have enough miles

    Hi Chris,

Yes its a regular Amex with rewards, and its already linked to my Virgin account.

Just wonder what the process was and how long it takes etc.

Then you need to log into the Flying Club on the Virgin site and check to see if the points appear. You have to call the reservations desk and book an available seat with your points.
