    seating question

Hi, me and my family will be going to Florida, July next year, I wanted to ask,we will be flying with Virgin from Manchester, there are 7 of us, 3 adults, 4 kids 16,15,11, and 8. What seats would you suggest I ask for on the plane, I was going to say 2 lots of 3 by a window, this leaves one of us sitting by a stranger or 3 in a window seat and 4 in the isle seats, I don't like flying and so I have been advised to sit over the wing? If this was your family, what would be your suggestions, Hope this all makes sense[msnscared][msnsmile]

Sit nearer the front of the plane, avoid the seats near Toilets -and window or central is up to you. Have a look at Seat Guru.com they tell you where the best and worst seats are.

I think if it was me I would ask for 3 window and 4 in the middle all in one row. That way you're all quite close and can see each other. The four middle seats are good because you only have to ask one person max to move when you need out to go to the toilet!!

Rows 21,22 and 23 are good in my opinion; sort of in your own little cabin. 21 is bulk head and not available to pre book i believe and I'm not sure if 23 recline the full way or not. Somebody else may know.

P.S If you are scared of flying sitting over the wing may not be a good idea as you will see the flaps etc moving and this may upset you?

I would sit forward of the wings as there is less motion and less noise than the rear[msnsmile]

Please try not to worry flying is the safest form of transport and Virgin are very good[msnsmile2]

Thanks Julie, I don't think I'm scared of the flying as such, just the movement, i,e dropping sensation[xx(][msnembarrased] What exactly causes that? As for the seats they look ok, it does mention that legroom is restricted ( it says this for all the rows, seats c,g and h) is this a big problem? and as for reclining, I can't sleep on an aeroplane anyway so we tend not to recline anyway.
