    Cinderella Meal

    Hi

We are going to Disney in August for my daughters 6th Birthday. She wants to have breakfast with Cinderella on the monring of her birthday and i seem to remember someone saying that it has to be booked way in advance. Can anyone tell me if this is the case?

Has anyone been? Anyone know the best way to book? I looked on the website and it tells me to ring but is this the only way?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Burbs,

Sounds like a nice way to spend the birthday party

You can call Disney Restaurant reservations directly and make a prioirty reservation. The contact number is from the UK 001-407-939-3463.

You need to phone at exactly 7am Florida time (noon UK time). I think it is 90 days before you go (for some reason I could not get on the Disney website to check). You may need to try for several days in a row as Cinderella's breakfast at the Magic Kingdom is one of the most popular dining experiences. For an alternative try the princess breakfast in Norway.

These breakfasts are both very popular.
If you should miss out, there is a dinner in the evening with Cinderella and Prince Charming with the fairy Godmother at 1900 Park Fayre in the Grand Floridian.
This dinner is also better value $$$ wise than the breakfast. You don't need to use a day off your park tickets and the meal , which is usually better food , is $10 per head cheaper.
I know that if your daughter has her heart set on breakfast these things don't matter but if you have a large family you may want to consider the dinner option.

You definately need to call at the exact time Ruth mentions - when we wanted to book both hubby and I called separately - he got booked but they were full by the time my call went through.

Another alternative is the evening meal with the characters from Cinderella at the Floridian. We went there for my daughters 5th birthday last year - they gave her a birthday tiara and Cinderella 'magically' appeared at her side when the server brought a birthday cake in for her. It is just the characters from Cinderella and a great experience. If you time it right you can then watch the 'wishes' fireworks across the lake from the boat dock to round off your evening.

If you decide to do the dinner instead then please check the characters due to be present at the time of booking as I think they are subject to change[msneek]I can recommend the Grand Floridian dinner, it is great[msnsmile2]

This is fantastic for a little girl - ours had a ball but ate nothing!!!! She was too busy looking at the princesses!!!!!
But the advice is good - it seels out very quickly. It took us a week to get a booking. When you get through it asks for things like are you staying on site etc. If you just press # when it asks you get through to the queue quicker. I actually called about 3-4 minutes before the time and got through no problem. Might be worth a try!

    Good luck!

Hi, I've just booked the cinderella dinner at GF for my daughters 6th birthday, we have a table booked for 6pm, in May does anyone know what time the wishes fireworks are in may and can we hang around the hotel to wait for them anyway?

Any other tips would be great. Thanks

You will love the dinner!- we did!!
I saw some little girls a few days before our meal who had been to the boutique where they have a princess makeover.
I looked into it for my daughter and found it to be quite expensive so I bought all the bits I needed from the Disney Store and did a make over for my daughter myself. She looked gorgeous and she wasn't alone in dressing up for the Cinderella dinner. So go and have a ball - get dressed up and you'll have a fantastic time!

RING AND RING NOW you still have time although this dining option gets booked like 180days in advance, its the only way you can book as far as I know

we are off on the 22nd July for the whole 6 weeks holiday, I rang maybe a month ago now and booked a table for the 25th July at 9.15 am for our first day in Disney

Got a booking pretty easyu at that stage but I did provide them with literally a 4 week period in which we were willing to visit

If possible try to provide a range of dates when you can visit rather than having just one date in mind

And have you credit card with you and prepared to hold for a while, in total was around a 10 minute call for me

You have to pay in full now, (2 adults 2 kids cost us around £65)

    Good Luck
