I have just been on youtube, and if you put in a search for WDW Kitchen Sink you can actually watch a short video of one of these being made.
This is the first time I have seen one in the flesh, so to speak, and it is now easy to see why they are so difficult to finish - even if a group of you tackle it.

I wonder if they do a low fat version [msneek]

i had one of these last time we was over, it cost $21.95

you get 8 large scoops of ice-cream
    couple of bananas
    couple of mars bars
    choc brownies - cookies
    cherries and lots more toppings
and a whole can of whipped cream

the worse bit is the cream, because you are totally
    stuffed just eating the cream

and no i didnt finish it [msnsad]

Yes I admit I am. I've promised myself that I won't eat much when on nights (just cereals for now) so my stomach is mounting a mutiny of biblical proportions. Because of this it is making me look at food related topics and this particular one just popped up.
It's not as if it's all I do on nights though - I do get busy sometimes - and seeing as though my particular job is to produce good quality aviation fuel to supply 20% of this countries needs you lot had better pray I keep my eye on the ball [msnwink]

You can get to Beaches and Cream by driving to The Beach Club Hotel on Disney property. (Near the Swan and Dolphin) Tell the guard that you are going to Beaches and Cream. The waits at peak times can be long as the place is small. It is located in the hotel near the pool. There is a carry out door and a dine in door. You need to dine in. By the way, they have great burgers too. The onion rings are the best around.
If you park at the Boardwalk, walk over to the Beach Club Hotel, (blue building) Go into the hotel and walk past Cape May Restaurant, out the double doors and you should see it.

when we go - we drive to the boardwalk - hire the bikes that are welded together with the surrey with the fringe on top look ($20-25 per half hour) - do 2 laps of the lake (difficult to do up-hill when laughing and panting!!) - then take the boat across the lake to the beach club - and collapse in beaches n cream - order our kitchen sink which is $21.95 (only gone up $2 in 9 years!!) and then leave half of it in a terrible mess and go home happy little bunnies!!! Only just found this thread but I now have a definite 'must do' outing for our visit this Christmas. We eat a lot of icecream in our family but think even we will have to get one between the four of us.

I will definately give this one a go. Do you know how many spoons you can have - maybe for a family of four!!!!
