    Busiest days at the Parks

    Cheeky question really but...

Will be in Kissimme for the two weks begining 24/3/07.

During the two weeks we plan to do:

    Magic Kingdom
    Animal Kingdom
    IoA
Universal and two visits to the Disney Water parkes.

Using the collective wisdom and experience of the posters which days should we do which parks to avoid horrendous crowds etc? I know that in the week leading up to Easter the parks will open longer but will this help?

    Cheers

I think all parks will be very busy, We used to space out the theme parks by visiting them every other day and using the days in between to visit water parks which tend to be more relaxing.

My advice is, go early. You can always leave a little earilier in the afternoon and return for the evening without paying again (they stamp your hand in most parks).

Start your intinary early in your holiday, you might just want to visit one of the parks again, it becomes hectic trying to cram visits to parks in as your holiday is drawing to a close.

    Have a great time.

    Hi Nigel,

We also go on the 24th and are thinking of going to the parks in the first week as I think the second will get much busier with UK school holidays.

Hope you and your family have a great time[msnsmile]

As Neil and Debbie have sad the best advise is to get to the parks at opening, all the parks tend to be at the busiest early afternoon - which is a great time to go back to the villa for a swim and cool off, the great thing about Easter is that the parks stay open really late and it's lovely being able to go back early evening to see the fireworks and parades - Also the rides are quieter while the parades are on, Magic Kingdom usually have 2 show times for the parade so we usually go and do a 'big ride' while the first parade is on as the crowds tend to thin out for the second parade (I guess it's too late for the tiny tots)

We have often found that at a weekend the parks are not as busy as you would imagine. Presume this is because for many visitors this is a changeover day , so many are travelling to or from the area.

I would definateky try to do most of the parks the first week. Your second wek is leading up to Easter and the English schools are all on holiday that week.
I have always found the parks busier at the weeends when ever I go, I've assumed that it due to people with annual passes who work during the week visiting at weekends.
As others have said, if you can have rest days in between, arrive early and make the most of your day.

We have found Fridays to be a busy day especially some of the disney Water parks. Mondays and Saturdays seem to be less busy but this is only our opinion.

It used to give the whole year but they now update it a day at time for the next 30 days or so only, unless you subscribe by buying the book.

If you check back in June it will have the crowd levels in July.

The explanations are at the bottom of the page and when we last went we followed the advice and found it to be very accurate.
