down town disney check in question

Hi everyone! We did the down town disney check in with Virgin last time we went to Florida and it was great. Last time we had a infant car seat from Dollar which obviously stayed with the car when we returned it. This time we are planning on taking our own booster seat for our now 4 year old. My question is, obviously we will want to keep the booster with us until we drop off the car at the airport. We don't want it as hand luggage, and are transporting it in a small suitcase. Can we drop most of our luggage off at DTD in the morning and then drop off this small suitcase when we get to the airport? If we do have to drop it off in the morning, has anyone used the integral harness that might be in the 7 seater that we are hiring?

You can hang on to it until you get to the airport, just ask them to tag it at DTD check in and then take it to the bag drop at the airport[msnwink]

Is it really worth taking the booster seat? If you are hiring a 7 seater then use the integral harness for the runs to and from the airport and then buy a booster seat for between $10-$20 from the likes of Walmart or Toys-R-Us (you can always check them out on their websites. You may also find that if you are booking a villa that they already have a booster seat, although you then don't know it's history. This will leave more luggage space, which I am sure you will be able to fill![msnwink]

Do all 7 seaters have an integral harness? I've read that most do, but is it guaranteed? Don't want to pick up the car and find we cannot transport him safely!

I hired a 7 seater on my last visit Dec 2006, and it just had 3 point seatbelts in all the seats

We returned from Orlando yesterday and we hired a 7 Seater whilst over there. The Vehicle we had only had the 3 point seatbelts. Luckly, we had a Booster seat with us.
