    Julie,

Which plane is this the seating plan of? I am flying Virgin in August and have been told it will be a 343. Will the seating plan be the same as the one you have posted.

    Thanks

    [msnsmile]

Hi Shirley, when you say 343 do you mean the seats are 343 or the aircraft type?[msnsmile2]

This plan is for the Gatwick or Manchester - Orlando route[msnsmile]

I think you are referring to the Airbus 340-300. The seat map above is for a Boeing 747 (Jumbo).

Virgin do have 343's but I'm not familiar enough with their operation to know whether they use them on these routes.

EDIT: I note you don't say which route you are flying (I think we have assumed that you are travelling to Orlando). Virgin do use 343's on their Heathrow - Washington Dulles route. Is that where you are going?

    A346 Routes: VS200/201 (HKG/SYD), VS07/08 (LAX), VS09/10 (JFK), VS45/46 (JFK), VS651/652 (LOS), VS900/901 (NRT), VS17/18 (EWR)

I am flying VS73 Man-Orlando depart 13.30 and when I called Virgin to reserve my seats I asked if it was a 747 and I was told no, and that it was a 343 (or it could have been 340 as I had difficulty understanding the accent), which I took to mean the aircraft type

I just wanted to check where the seats we are allocated are on the plane.

Shirley, we flew Manchester to Orlando last November with Virgin and it was definitely a 747. You can view your seat allocation on Virgin's website and change them if you wish.

Shirley Manchester-Orlando is always the 747 that I posted above, that's not to say they won't change it in the future but if you are travelling economy I would think she meant the config was 3-4-3 seating[msnwink]
