Do this all the time, another great packing tip (to double your space is the vacuum bags from Walmart. You can fit twice as much in your normal suitcase [msnwink]

i've got my vacuum bags thanks, i went for the ones that you can either roll or vacuum, not sure if the hoover in the villa will have the right attachment to risk just the vacuum ones, i would think so as the villa has stairs and you cannot hoover them with a upright[msneek]
also going to use the smallest one to put our dirty clothes in from the day before after spending the night in the airport hotel[msnwink]
i bought an extra set for the return trip so that's 6 vacuum bags in total = lots of shopping[msnsmile2]
Its fine - I have been doing this or years to many locations. Its so I could bring goodies back for the kids and wife

Even if it is an upright vacuum cleaner (which is most likely) you will still find that it has a hose tool that you can use to suck the air out.
Sometimes cleaners brush stairs rather than vacuum them.<blockquote id="quote" class="ffs">quote:Originally posted by mizzy

In all the traveling I do and all the odd things I carry around in my suit cases....I've only had one opened once....that was when I replaced the light switches in my home in FL...and carried them up here to use in MA...OK I'm cheap......but it saved me around $30....[msnsmile2]

that's good to know Carla[msnsmile]
the roll up smaller one i have will be good for the dirty clothes after a night in the airport hotel[clap]
One year it was taking ages to suck out the air from the bags using the villa vacumn, bought a red devil hand held vacumn from Walmart for $20. Worked a treat even considered bringing in back with me but decided to give it to our friends who live out there. They're impressed with it too.
With all the money I save with my "bargains" what's an extra $20 if it saves my sanity[msnsmile2]
Not only do we have four cases with four cases inside, but we carry
fishermans scales to make sure we get our full allowance
Never had a problem yet[^][^]
