    cost of a gallon

    Hi all
Just wanted to know if anybody knew the cost of a gallon of fuel in florida.
i want to do the maths on silver or gold insurance
i also have read that they charge about an extra 50% more for the fuel.
I will be renting a compact for 3wks with about 12.5 gallon tank
the difference between the 2 is about £45

At present the cheapest is $2.08 opposite downtown Disney. It varies quite a lot and can be as expensive at $2.50.
Remember though, like you said the rental companies seem to make up their own prices for a gallon.

We are getting it for $2.19 some are $2.17 if you ride around but it is not worth it not like Uk go to TESCO and get points and still more expensive than FLORIDA .
A small compact automatic will give you lots of miles per gallon .

The last time we paid for the fuel on a rental car it showed on the Agreement at $5.99

So go for Gold if this is the cheaper option!!

I think you will find that if you are renting for over two weeks you are better off on the silver package, unless you want to put more than two drivers on. That is with Dollar.

The rental companies charge between £3 and £6 at present apart from Budget where you return the car full on the Silver.
