Weather Miami

Hi i was flying out to miami on 16 sept. I see on the forecasts that it rains a lot over these times. What i would like to know are these really shirt bursts or does it rasin just all day?

Hi Rich

In theory it should be just a short afternoon burst or storm and then sunshine again although the weather's been a bit mixed up recently (as it has in the UK) so I can't guarantee that! What I can tell you is that it's normally hotter in Miami than it is in the Orlando area as it's that much further south.

My son is at University of Miami and most days he tells me that so far they have had some rain but it has been more the short burst tropical storm type. He has said there has been quite of lot of thunder. It doesn't spoil his day though when he wants to go to South Beach!
