    Virgin or British Airways

We have used Virgin previously but have never used BA and was wondering what the differences are. Has anyone done both, how do they compare ie entertainment for kids, leg room etc.

Are you planning on going economy Jo - premium economy has just been upgraded with Virgin? Also it depends where you are flying from. Personally I prefer Virgin but I am sure there are many who will disagree! I don't think there is that much between them really so go for the best deal.

If you do a search you will probably find quite a few threads.

Do BA have a Twilight Check-in/Downtown Disney Check-in facility like Virgin do? That is a big selling point for us and I just wondered....

We have flown Virgin for the past few years. Must admit though that we have found a drop in their standards the last couple of times we have flown so we are going to consider BA or perhaps Continental soon to see what the difference might be.

At the end of the day we just want to get out to the villa so 8/9 hours of any flight might be worth it.

One of the reasons we feel Virgin are dropping standards is that the last couple of trips we have done Downtown checkin has failed us. Although we dont need to do that now as the villa is just 20 mins from the airport we just go straight there for check-in.

What do you mean when you say that the Downtown checkin has failed you?

If BA alter the baggage allowance (BBC News) down to 1 bag[V]
It will have to be Virgin. Unless they follow suit.[V]
Downtown check in has always been fantastic for us
