    Snow forecast tomorrow at Gatwick

Good luck to all those flying out tomorrow, heavy snow forecast for SE with severe weather warning issued by Met Office. So leave lots of time for the drive and expect bad conditions at Gatwick.

Just my luck as we are booked on the Virgin 11:15 flight.[8D]

I'll keep everything crossed for you Barry.[msnsmile2][msnsmile2]

You may get a delay, but they'll get you out if at all possible. No doubt the airport authorities are currently doing whatever they can, just in case.

We're flying out on 19th and have booked the Hilton at Gatwick for the night before for £86.50, or the Travelodge near north terminal is around £60, is it worth you doing that tonight and save having to worry about the drive in the morning?

We had the same idea and hotel room is now booked for tonight, found a reasonable rate at the Ibis on the A23 just a stones throws from South terminal.

Sorry a bit OT but where did you book the Hilton for £86.50? I always stay there but never found it that cheap.

Thanks, I am already signed up and have a Hilton Honors gold card too. I do quite often receive emails, but can't remember that one unfortunately.

I've seen those prices advertised in the press before but more often than not they're subject to a 2 night stay, so that's very good.

I presume you are talking about the room price and not the pppn charge? just in case we are at cross purposes.

    Jill
