    Spanish Trip...

Next week I'm off on a residential visit to Spain so I am trying to cram as many different outfits into as compact a suitcase as possible [msnwink]. I have a meeting with some spanish dignitaries and I'm wondering whether to go for smart casual or formal attire? What would you do or should I say pack for a meeting with the Mayor etc?

I agree, the Spanish are very snappy dressers, very stylish and they do dress formally for meetings etc

For a meeting with the Mayor and Dignitaries I agree that it would have to be formal dress.

i agree formal ive seen spanish men waling round in mid summer in suits and ties,i suppose its just as well its not midsummer that you are going, it will probably be just like our pleasant summer days, maybe if you are wearing suits etc you could wear cotton blouses etc they are always cooler than manmade fibres pat
