which wdw resort for xmas day

    Hi
We THINK we are going to a wdw resort for xmas lunch rather than battleing the parks xmas day, we are led to believe they are an attraction themselves are we right??? , if so can anyone help us decide which resort to go to ,we have 4 + 12 year old and would like somewhere interesting to look around after lunch.
Are we making the right choice or will we miss TOO much by missing a park.
We would like to here your opinions / ideas
    thanks.

We did Epcot last year, mainly so that we could do the Candlelit Processional on Christmas Day. We did have an unusual Lunch - Popcorn and one of those huge turkey legs. This suited Aileen fine as she does not like the whole big sit down meal thing (). My only feeling was that the parks weren't any more special on Christmas Day itself than any of the orhter days around then. Whereas the atmosphere in MK on New Year's Eve was [u]fantastic</u>.

In a way, though, it allowed us to get up, open pressies, go to church and perhaps enjoy Christmas for what it is supposed to commemorate, rather than the focus being on the meal.

We avoided Disney on Christmas day and stayed at home. Watched the parades on the TV - it was broadcast live from MK. We went to MK on Boxing Day. We then did Epcot New Years Eve.
