    Herbal Remedies

My youngest daughter Eve has been ill since New Year and after visiting Alder Hey Childrens Hospital in Liverpool and being given the all clear of any infection this morning the doctor I seen recommended a herbal remedy which helps build up immune systems.
It is pronounced FOOGEE although I'm sure it's not spelt this way, I've had a look on H&B website with no luck.

Just wondering if anyone can shed any light on this for me please.
    Thank you.

i would suggest giving the doctors secretary a ring back and ask for a spelling, i would also ask your gp to see if it can be prescribed? they can prescribe some herbal medicines it just depends on how hard you push with some gp's

another idea i would suggest is to look at her diet and see if you cannot help build up her immune system this way too

it's good to hear that she's on the mend though Paula [msnsmile]

I've had to provide the doctors with a diet sheet of the past two weeks and as far as they can see there is no problem there. She has picked up so many viral infections over the past few months and the doctors just think her immune system needs a boost.

I can't tell you how relieved I am as the past few weeks with various tests and scans have been very worrying and a few more grey hairs have appeared on my head.

How about getting some Minadex -a health visitor recommended it to me [her own children used to call it "grow bigger medicine"] and it is great for putting kids [of all ages] back on their feet very fast!
