First Choice

just got back from sfd-man via first choice

Have to say not only the cheapest crossing I have ever paid £234
but also one of the most comfortable

The new seats in economy are the roomiest I have used
seat back tv and the inflight meals were of an excellent standard
I have used a lot of carriers over the last 3 years including virgin
and think they for one need to improve there service which I think has got worse over the same period.
I think the bar has been raised by the improving charter companies
not all just some.
I still prefer mco but on landing at sanford within 50 minutes I was on 417 travelling south.

I am travelling in june with virgin does any one know if they are upgrading planes from manchester.
Because they are getting tired in my opinion.

Florida is such a great place to visit and the long journey could be made so much more "comfortable"

For me V.A. are not "flavour of the month"

I agree with Bushbaby the service is "suffering"

I am pleased that there is now another option for flying with First Choice who are offering better seating.

For us who live in Wales and the West of England we could do with some more flights in our area.

From Bristol you can fly in-direct with Continental but from Cardiff INTERNATIONAL ! there is one Thomson flight a week to Florida starting the end of May and service stops October.

Thomson do not fly out our Cardiff anymore,they pulled out at the end of last year, only My Travel do the Florida route now. On Thursday from second week in March to second week in October.

So if you will in Wales and the west you can only fly to Florida direct either from Gatwick or Manchester, or indirect from Bristol via Newark.

We have flown the bristol route but only in the summer, I wouldn't like to chance it in tht winter with New York chances of Snow.

Linda, First Choice now fly from Brisol during peak times. I don't know any more details ( as I always fly from Gatwick) but it's another option worth checking out[msnsmile]

Hubby has just come back from Florida with First Choice, he said it was better than Virgin lots of leg room and wide seats, and at a more reasonable price (£220). From now we will be looking at First Choice first for our flights.

We travelled with First Choice last January and the flight was great, just as good as any Virgin flight we have been on.

We have used First Choice as well and found it very comfortable. Shame they have stopped flying out of Newcastle. WE only have Thomson now.

Are First Choice schedual flights or only seasonal ?

I like First Choice flights, only problem for me is that I can't get longer than 14 days with them.
