    flying with a baby

Does anyone know if you can fly to Orlando with a baby aged around 4 months.

I have seen that some airlines have the travel cots. Do you have to book these before hand.

Yes you can, I have flown with one of my at 11 days old, then again at 6 and 11 weeks, and again 6 months etc. Yes there are travel cots which are far more suited to very young babies as they are made from soft material and quite small, and Yes you book them at the time of booking your tickets.

Why not search the web site of your chosen airline to find out more[msnsmile2]

    Happy Flying!

From our experience even if you have booked your flights you can always contact the airline and request a sky cot.

Yes we flew with our 4 month old on new years day we booked a cot and you need to make sure you book the correct seats too. On BA on a 777 the cots are located on row 15 so within 24 hrs of take off book your seat and print off your boarding pass to guarantee your seats.

Not sure about the row number on any other airline. If you sont do that you may end up with baby on your lap for 9 hrs 40mins.

Dom you can fly wth a baby generally if it is more than 5 days old! The skycots/families that use them are normally in the first row of the cabin in the midde section. We had anipper on Saturay in those seats that slept the whole journey[clap]
