My daughters love High School Musical and we wondered if there is anything at Disney about it, either a show or merchandise to buy.

Magic Kingdom has "The High School Musical Pep Rally" (I think they still have it!) in which guests learn cheers and dance moves from High School Musical's songs. At the end everyone participates in a finale version of "We're All in This Together."

The High School Musical Pep Rally, performed several times daily in the Magic Kingdom's Tomorrowland, is being expanded and moved to the Disney-MGM Studios beginning next month. The new show, which is based on the popular Disney Channel movie, will be performed on a float and will move through the park

Read an article in UK press this week predicting HSM merchandise being one of the top sellers for Xmas 2007. So stock up while you're in the US and make a bit of money on ebay come December!

My daughter bought this DVD with some of her xmas money and I hadnt even heard about it until then. It has fast become one of her favourites and she got pretty excited when she heard on the Disney Channel that they are making a HSM2.

My kids have the DVD also. I watched it with them and it was a nice movie - I just found it to be a bit corny at my age! But, for their age group, it's really good clean entertainment, which is hard to come by these days!

high school music story books are available from amazon, i got one for my youngest for christmas just gone

there's also hannah montana and that's so raven books/cd's on there too which seem to be quite popular too, something to do with one of the stars on hannah montana appearing as a guest in high school musical 2
