I've just been watching it!
Loved his swim with the manatee. Don't really know why they're so appealing, but they are!

Would have loved to see this - shame I missed it!

Im sorry I missed this programme , did I imagine it or was Bill oddie a member of a group, band or some such musical gathering at an earlier stage ? maybe its some one else .

i did like the bit where he's doing some piece to camera from a Jacksonville campus, and then switching to a shot of the US192 as it goes past the top of Poinciana Blvd and then back to Jacksonville. [msnsmile2]

He was a songwriter before that though and there were also Goodies' recordings such as "Father Christmas Do Not Touch Me"/"The In-Betweenies", "Do The Funky Gibbon", and "Black Pudding Bertha", which were hit singles in 1974-5. The Funky Gibbon was on Top of the Pops. He plays the drums and saxophone.
He's also a writer and has written quite a few comedy series. And was the 'voice' of B & Q adverts in 2006.
A multi-talented person!

9/10 Blott - Michael Palin (along with Graeme Garden - and others) was a founder member of Monty Python - but was not a member of the Goodies.
