Awful here in the Northwest, trees down all over the place, Manchester Airport closed until at least 6pm, trains cancelled, traffic terrible, what's it like where you are?[msnscared]

blowing a gale on the north east coast, very wet and miserable looking outside
my garden fence has taken quite a battering and i'm not sure it'll still be there in the morning if the wind picks up[msnsad]

here in Harrogate N Yorks it is terrible, very high winds and we have had torrential rain. UGH I want to be in Florida
Horrendous here in Staines. The question is, do I risk going home on the motorway and having my car blow away, or go the more scenic route and meeting a fallen tree on the way home?![msnscared]

Much the same in West Sussex - trees down and walking home from school was a battle!!
I've been in Alder Hey with Eve all day (She has a kidney infection) while we were there they were expecting a major incident. A tree had come down in a school playground injuring children. Just driving home there were trees down everywhere.

It's really windy here too - we've had the power down for 5 hours and 2 trees have come down in our paddock. The only good thing I could say about it is it's not raining (but it was overnight and there are HUGE puddles everywhere).
Very strong winds in Wiltshire - 6 fence panels have come down and anxiously looking at a tree next to the garage.
We had a covering of snow at 6.30am in Cumbria, the winds have been awful, it's settled here now, lets hope it doesn't get worse overnite which is forecasted.[msnscared]
