Hi and welcome to the forum!!!!

Hampton Lakes is a beautiful exclusive resort community of luxury houses situated on Highway 27, just off Highway 192 and within 20 minutes of Disney’s Main Gate.

With its communal pool, floodlit tennis courts and children’s play area - as well as a basketball, and a beach volleyball court Hampton Lakes really does cater for the whole family.

The US27 and 192 offer numerous opportunities for shopping and eating out whilst many restaurants deliver to the door in the area. The recently opened “Berry” town centre is approximately 5 minutes drive for all your groceries.

The estate is close enough to all attractions to make for a very active holiday whilst offering the opportunity to get away from it all in the peace and quite of the community. And with many excellent Golf courses in the area you’re certain to need somewhere to kick back and savour every stroke!

I don't think there will be much within walking distance but there certainly is a lot within a 10 min drive.

There are loads of places to eat on the 192 (including Beef O'Bradys which shows British football games).

As far as Nike shops there is one down the 192 near Arabian nights and one at Orlando Premium Outlets which is well worth a visit, to name but a few.

Premium Outlets (just off I Drive) Mall At Milennia, Prime Outlets (being refurbished, but some shops open for bargains) Etc Etc[msnsmile2] Loads of shops on 192.
You won't have to look to hard to find them. [msnwink][msnwink]

We own a villa on Hampton Lakes and whilst you will need to drive to go out to eat there are some lovely places within 5/10 minutes. If you turn left out of Hampton Lakes and go up the 27 you will come to Ridgeway Plaza where there is a Beef O'Bradys. If you turn left at Ridgeway and continue down to Champions Gate there are lovely Italian and French restaurants as well as a branch of Chillis.

Alternatively turn right out of Hampton Lakes and head down to the 192 which has stacks of good eating places and isn't very far to drive to either.

There are also a couple of Publix supermarkets within a very short drive in case you feel like getting a few bits and pieces to eat at the villa one evening and a lot of places do deliver food as well - you'll probably find some leaflets in the home you are staying in.

Whatever you decide to do you will have a fantastic time!

    Thanks

Sounds like we`ve got a good place to stay.
My next job is to make some kind of plan, the problem is there`s so much to do.

I must say this forum is excellent for hints and tips.
Been reading for hours and still got much more to read.

    But i don`t mind

Anybody got a must do tip....

    Alex,

Welcome to the forum. Just so that you may get more suitable tips, what age are your children?

If your children are not little tots I would recommend Universal's Islands of Adventure, MGM and Busch gardens for some good thrill rides. If you havnt already bought tickets for the theme parks, the link on this site offers excellent prices and service. Here is the link for you http://www.park-tickets.com/

1 tip i would offer you is dont try and do everything this trip because you are bound to want to go back again, because weve found since going to florida no other holiday has any appeal to us, but you have probably booked a beautiful home and a day at "home"every now and then gives you a breather and recharges your batteries for another day out pat

Welcome welcome-you are in for a treat--the first thing that I would say is as stated don't try and do it all-it's too big! The absolute must is Disney's Magic Kingdom-quite possibly more than once-you have got to stay for the fireworks and the evening parade.
After that well a lot depends on the age of your children and I know that you will get loads of advice from the lovely people on here-be prepared for your calves to be like rocks when you come home as you will NEVER have walked like this-so another absolute is to build in some do nothing days to recharge the batteries.
Oh yeah-you must plan (but keep it flexible) otherwise you will end up chasing your tail
Finally, and now I'll stop-savour everything including the planning, read everything before you go, get as excited as you want-there is nowhere else on earth like this fabulous place!
