i have a party of guests who do not want to drive can anyone recomend
a taxi service to take them to the parks etc

We have been going to Orlando for 8 years or more and not once have we ever felt the need for a car, that said we do stay on I'Drive, which has good links to all the parks etc.

If we were in a Villa then we would need a car, so it depends on where you are staying.

If you are on International Drive, then the Public Transport System is very good, with the I'Ride Trolly Bus running the length of I'Drive every 10 minutes.

There is also the Lynx Buses which run services out to Disney and Universal Studios and the Shopping Malls etc.

Both companies offer 5 / 7 & 10 day passes which are cheaper in the long run and allow you to travel as many times as you like.

If we do ever need a cab, then we use Town & Country ( they run Dark Blue Coloured Cars )

There is also Star Taxis, ( which run white clouored cabs ) and Checker Cabs ( which are Yellow & Black ).

If you do intend to use a cab, then always try to get the cost of the fare confirmed up front, as they can vary depending on the driver and the route he takes.
