    Breakfast with Chef Mickey

We got the New Year off to a great start; I had booked breakfast with Chef Mickey at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. The youngest was my lovely little niece Lydia who is 3 and the oldest was my Mum who was 65 years young just a few day’s later. Each of us enjoyed the atmosphere in the restaurant and the interaction with the characters was wonderful, we didn’t feel rushed when we asked for photos or autographs. The food was excellent, very fresh and plenty of choice.
I would recommend this to everyone.
Here are a few photos to give you an idea

    There is just no escape

We went across to The Grand Floridian, just to have a look around. Here is the lobby and the beautiful Gingerbread house inside it. WOW

lovely photos Lynne, next time you'll have to give brekkie at the grand floridian a go, we thought it was lovely

have you seen my attempts at a gingerbread house, i'm afraid to let my little chap see that one just in case he insists on replicating it back home[msneek]

Thanks Mizzy, yes I saw your gingerbread house I thought it was wonderful. I'm sure it would taste better than the one in my photo as it was made with love

I watched a TV show once about how the Disney chefs make the gingerbread house. There is so much attention to detail applied even there.

    Great photos Lynne [msnsmile2]

Yes, Steve the detail was superb, here is one of the inside of the house. Hope you can make some of it out.

Glad you all like the photos

Liesel, Lydia had a ball you should see the photos of her with the princesses.
