    As Caroline has said, it is seconds. I have always found that immigration is a fairly painless and quick process in general. bare in mind too Tony, that not everyone that goes through when you do , will be getting their picture taken, that is only done the first time to get you on file.

    They do the picture every time to make sure it corresponds to the one they have on their records.

    What happens if you have a facelift and no longer match the old photo. Would not like to have to try and explain that one to immigration[msnwink]
