We've always booked the flight and car separately - this time I have been quoted a good offer for a fly/drive with virgin to orlando. I just wondered how you guys felt about this. Thought I read somewhere that the car hire was not the same as booking independently. Be grateful for some feedback. Also, do you get to choose your seat on the aircraft with these offers?

Hi Lisi, I have used Virgin Hols F/D many times and they have been fab, never had any problems booking seats treated as a normal Virgin passengers, I have always gone for the Gold option all inclusive car and again no probs at all.
One good thing is the whole thing is changable for a small admin charge, so once we extended our stay in Florida for around £30 p.p (plus extra car hire) for an extra 5 days[msnwink]
Lisi, Have you checked that the car hire offered includes all the insurances that you need? Usually they are not included and can add up to quite a tidy sum. We book the flights then shop around for car and we also always take all inclusive as no shocks when we get there .
So ask who you have booked with and you will find out nost companys do all inclusive now as people got stung way back with abou £300 extra at desk as you pick car up at ORLANDO .
