She's lovely Julie reminds me of one we had called chloe she was a great cat and a good mouser,i think its great you have chosen to rehome an older cat instead of a cute kitten, good luck with her.

My mouser Tucson before he put on many calories from mice, birds, squirrels. Now known as slaughter bear. The mouser is the one in the white fur by the way The other creature won't touch them.

Thanks everyone, she is turning out to be a real poppet, very calm, very affectionate and so nice with the children who adore her, we really wanted a cat who we knew had a placid nature, and we also wanted to give a homeless cat a second chance[msnsmile2]

P.S She knows exactly where the mice are coming in too[msnwink]

Thanks - not that he is talking to me at the moment. He broke a vase last night as I scared the living daylights out of him whilst watching TV (England beat Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland in a quiz at the last second when all the other countries had ganged up against us) and I clapped - didn't intend to scare him and yes all you Welsh, Northern Irish and Scots out there it does serve me right. He walks out everytime I appear almost as though he is expecting to be told off for the breakage and I do have every sympathy for the cat and none for myself.
