    Your biggest bargain

What is the biggest bargain you have picked up whilst shopping in Orlando??

A few years back, I bought a pair of Nike Air Shox as a Christmas present for my mum - $49.99, when the RRp was $219.99!!!

I don't know whether you'd class it as a big bargain but every time we go to Orlando my wife stocks up with little spectacle cleaning wipes because they are a fraction of the cost in the UK.
Bizarre?? Yes I suppose it is and I've often wondered what the customs would say.

My Mum always gets Carmex lip balm...loads of it because it's only 90c or so but about twice the price here...

I got a nice winter jacket in Guess reduced from $108 to $39 this trip. I assume they'd be the equivalent in GBP over here so approx £20 is pretty good. No use in Florida but very welcome at present

We also got a couple of bargains on the last day, even though we'd decided to stop shopping!!, reduced 75% on the already sale prices. A nice pair of ski type gloves for about $2 and a light jacket for $4 from Old Navy....

The biggest bargain for us is coming out in winter we turn of the central heating and stop spending in Uk .
Meal are cheaper here, We do not need as many clothes as a lot warmer ,
Parking is free here in most places .
And the gas is cheaper .[sporty][sporty]

I picked up a leather Jacket in Timberland reduced from $500 to just under $100. This was in the Thanksgiving days sales in the premium outlet. We bought loads in the Timberland shop, shoes were $30, jumpers $15, T shirts $6 and i also bought a Timberland Divers watch reduced from $200 to $39.

Would have to say the Nike Factory Store.

Just this Xmas bought 2 pairs trainers for the eldest daughter 2 x pairs for Jane my wife and 1 pair for our youngest, Gym Shorts x 2 for me and Jane some Gym clothes. $198.

Wouldn't even like to consider how much we would have paid in England. Come to think of it, can't remember the last time we bought trainers here, we always stock up while over at the Villa.

    Bob,
If you have an Aldi store near you they sell boxes of these wipes for around £1.50 for 100. Contact lense cleaner is also very cheap in Florida.

When I was on the fringes of the County squad at ten-pin bowling, I bought a pair of Dexter SST IV shoes with interchangeable soles. Black and silver, you needed sunglasses to see then clearly!

$35 at the Dexter shop of I Drive against £110 in the UK. Should have bought more.
    Regards, Mark
