    Retention of fingerprints by FBI

Read today that a plan is proposed that all 10 fingerprints will be taken at US Immigration and the prints retained permanantly by the FBI.

Civil Liberty groups are fighting plan.

US Immigration will probably compromise and only 9 fingerprints will be taken and only kept for 50 years[msnwink]

So what? Unless you plan to rob Publix who cares?
I'm a pilot and a part time real estate agent. Both jobe required me to give my prints to the FBI.

It's good to see estate agents have to submit fingerprints. I've always regarded their charges as criminal.

    Thats funny. Really!
The reason we give fingerprints is because a Florida Real Estate License is issued by the Florida Business Regulation folks in Tallahassee. All these licenses require fingerprints.
