    Daniel thanks but I think we'll give Alaska a miss - sounds much toooooo cold! I get SAD from winter in the UK, so goodness knows how, or if, I would survive in Alaska.

    Is anyone getting brrrrrrrrr cold from this topic now how do you get from sunshine to cold although I think everyone over exagerates a bit about where they live

    I live in rainy wet Manchester and I am always complaining about how wettttttttt this place is even though we have just come from quite a nice summer still you only remember the rain

    We had a lot of rain this year.....so much so we have grass for the first time since we moved here......I really don't mind the cold weather...just the bill paying.....
