When we were over in Orlando in the summer we noticed that the Danskin shop at Belz had gone - does anyone know any other dancewear shops in/around Orlando. We are looking for the sneaker dance shoes but would need to try them before buying.

Tracey, there is a Danskin outlet at Lake Buena Vista outlets, 15719 S Apopka Vineland Rd Hope it is still there[msnwink]

We buy Danskin from Walmart for my young daughter

One in Lake Buena Vista gone too. They only have jazz shoes in Walmart which are fantastic but not dance sneakers. Don't think there are any except in Downtown Orlando. I would be interested in finding out too.

Thanks everyone - when she was into ballet it was so simple and Walmart was just the job - now she is moving from practical to trendy.....

We used to go to the Danskin shop at the Beltz too, was sad to see it had gone. Found a lovely dance shop which is attached to a dance school, they do lot's of different makes and they do Danskin too, can be delivered to the UK although I've only been into the store (usually come out with quite a few bits too [msnembarrased]!!) check out the link:

Hi Tracey,

I can thoroughly recommend the Dancewear Corner on Partin Settlement Rd.

My stage partner wears Danskin tights and was paying about £20 a pair in the UK. I get them for her for around $12 from Amanda at the Dancewear Corner. So well worth the visit.

If you're heading east along the 192 towards St. Cloud watch for the Florida Turnpike exit /entry on your left. Turn RIGHT immediately opposite this and you will drive for a couple of minutes to Partin Settlement Rd. The Dancewear Corner is on your right at the road junction.
