Prime outlet (Was Belz)

We stopped by prime outlets yesterday at the end of international drive before nipping round the corner to the mall at millenia. Last time we visited, they had just started to knock Mall 2 down. Now Mall 2 is completely gone, and parts of Mall 1 have as well. The steel structure for a new mall? is now up and is looking to be huge. Planned opening is for Summer 2007.

Mall 1 looks like it will go soon and does look a little sad at the moment, but all the designer stores just a short distance away are still going strong.

To get to the Mall at Millenia from here, head east on oakridge road over the bridge (over I4) and take the first left onto millenia blvd and follow this round, you can't miss it.

Probably needs the upgrading now Mind you, hope they don't go as "Wow" as mall at Millenia, not sure my budget will stretch to that sort of shopping too often, fabulous though that mall is[msnwink]

We called at the outlets in October and it was pretty dead then. The designer shops close by were quite busy though. It definately needed upgrading so hopefully when the new malls open it will be worth visiting.

Open for Summer 2007? Blimey , it doesn't take them long to knock up a new mall, does it? Years down the line and our new shopping centre in Aberdeen is still like a bombsite!!
Can't wait to visit the new Prime Outlets when we (hopefully) go back next year - It was in need of an upgrade imho.

I've just taken a look at the prime outlet web page, and this first part will have a nieman marcus? clearance store. If anything it has the artistic look and feel of the premium mall further down international drive.

The 2nd phase which i assume is mall 1 being flattend and rebuilt will be completed in 2008. All the other desginer stores just outside these main areas will remain as is.
