Belated birthday greetings Julie, not been on line for a few days, as you say, surprising how posts quickly appear.

Good luck everyone with the weigh in's on Monday.

Hi all, belated birthday greetings Julie from me too, that food looked delicious and you are looking soooooo slim nowadays!![clap]

Well it was a horrible day down here, got soaked walking the hounds but went to Boots to buy some make up as had run out of day cream. Funnily enough they were having the buy 2 items get a bunch of goodies promo (I am so mean it is the only time I buy major items like skin care) so my girls were very interested in my bag when I got home! The Lancome girl gave me 2 extra tubes of skin care so I gave them out to them and told them to keep their mucky paws off the rest!

I so know where you are going Julie and Mizzy - I have one room like that, the other has finally sorted about 2/3rds of hers, the other one you can't see the floor. Took 6 bags of books and 3 bags of clothes down to the Cancer Research shop on Saturday and guess what, they don't want any more books!

So if a fit of I must do something with them all have signed up for the local freecycle store which is in Reading and am going to start offering stuff there for anyone to have. Decluttering is going to be my next big thing. We are moving offices and showrooms over the next few weeks and have brought home about 20 giant pots of plants - cheeseplants etc. so you cannot move in our conservatory and den for greenery. Had to move a couple of bookcases into another room to make way for the triffids and got rid of most of them[angel].

And if it would only stop raining again I could finish attacking the garden which is long overdue a good hackback. Very therapeutic.

I'd like to say I got to the gym and stuck religiously to my diet plan over the weekend but I would be telling a great big whopper of a lie.

So .... as Scarlett keeps on saying in this household, tomorrow is another day...

onwards & upwards, no I mean onwards and downwards don't I?[msnwink]

Pat if you can't eat the cheesecake - please send it to me [msnwink] [msnwink] [msntongue]

Well here goes with my Friday and weekend food:

Friday - seriously oaty, tuna panini, home made fried rice, activa yoghurt, grapes, banana and lots of water and green tea

Saturday - special k, minced beef pie (left most of the crust) and mushy peas, grilled bacon sandwich, one small choccy biscuit, apple, pear, two glasses of wine and soda and a cheese (lf) and tomato toastie
Not great but not too damaging I hope [msnscared]

Sunday - special k, grilled steak with jacket potato and tablespoon of sweetcorn relish, egg sandwich (smidge of lf mayo) on malted grain bread, two coffee creams

Lots of water and green tea drank too, but I know I did not eat enough fruit/veg!

Here's to a good week for me and everyone else!! [msnsmile]

well done Jan, 1 1/2 lb is a great loss [clap][clap][clap] i can see from your post that you are disappointed but you shouldn't be, the healthy amount to lose is between 1-2lbs per week and if you've ever seen that block of "fat" weighing 2 lbs then i'm sure you wouldn't want that back

i'm a slow but steady plodder at this weight loss lark and i find it helpful to set only half stone targets at a time, for me this works as the goal doesn't seem so far away

Julieanne you are doing great too, having those odd little treats without feeling naughty and then carrying on as normal, you're another one doing fantastic[clap][clap][clap]

I have just eaten a hot cross bun 9 syns[msneek][msneek][msneek] made the classic mistake of buying them for the children they ate one each and that left another 2 in the pack - well now there is only one[msnembarrased] Not expecting a loss this week after my birthday but would be very happy with a maintain[msnwink]
