First F1 race we have watched all the way through. Excellent race by young Mr Hamilton. Dare I say this years champion?
Luckily the driver involved in the accident escaped with a broken leg.

Have to say we were so relieved to hear that he only had a broken leg - thought it was much more serious. Still it has ruined his season.

reports this morning were that in fact it was only a sprained ankle so even better
Well done Mr Lewis Hamilton, fantastic achievement collecting a podium finish in each of his first 6 races, capped by his first win , of many more I am sure
A real credit to his family, especially all the many years of hard work his father put in, and paying back the belief he had in him from an early age
And also especially touching his comments on his brother being his inspiration, who suffers with cerebral palsey, and reminds him of how fortunate he is, and taken to the hearts of his pit team as well
A very level headed young man, who will go a long long way
By no means out of the question that he wont win back to back races at Indianapolis next weekend, and also the World title in his first season
Driving back from the airport, listening to the race, what a nail bitter!
Thankfully that driver was OK - and our guy (what can I say?)
